We are often asked how our customers can connect to their TeamSpeak 3 server.
While your welcome email provides a HOSTNAME and a PORT, as well as the required PRIVILEGE KEY / TOKEN, it may be unclear that the IP and PORT need to be used together. In order to do this, in the TeamSpeak 3 client, click Connections --> Connect (or the CTRL-S hotkey in client version 3.0.18.x), and enter the HOSTNAME/IP:PORT (i.e. if the HOSTNAME was gavs.co and the PORT provided was 6666, you would enter gavs.co:6666, while if the IP ADDRESS was 5.5.5.5 and the PORT provided was 6666, you would enter 5.5.5.5:6666 here).
