Portal Home > Knowledgebase > Support > TeamSpeak > I just signed up. Why does my TeamSpeak server's TSDNS show "Pending" in the Client Area?
We have been asked by a few of our clients who just completed the sign-up process for a TeamSpeak server why the "TSDNS" entry in their Client Area shows "Pending". Because a custom domain or subdomain requires DNS entries to become visible on the Internet, and DNS takes time to 'propagate', we initially leave a new TSDNS entry in the 'Pending' state. We have a script running that sets up the DNS automatically, so this will eventually automatically change to "Active". However, please note that it can take up to 24 hours to be able to use that new address everywhere on the Internet; during this period, the new address may work for some people but not for others. In the interim, the "Server Address" provided in the Welcome email that you receive when signing up will continue to work and allow your TeamSpeak server to be accessible.
